  I interpreted this prompt to mean a nonfiction book about music. So here's a book on my TBR that is about music: (Pic was found on Google Images) This is a memoir published in 2020 with a focus on Dolly Parton's music career. Today is Day 1 of Nonfiction November! Nonfiction November is something that was started by the Booktuber @abookolive . She runs it primarily over on Instagram. Olive has made prompts for everyday of November regarding nonfiction books. Today's prompt is what is on my TBR for Nonfiction November. Well, so far I only have two books. They are: I might also read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser. We'll see! Hopefully I can find a new favorite and rekindle my love of reading nonfiction, too! The only other nonfiction book I read and liked this year was They Called Us Enemy by George Takei.  I will also not participate in every single prompt because I have some other things I want to talk about this month. But I will participate in the majority of the prompts!

Kitchen Princess manga series by Miyuki Kobayashi and Natsumi Ando. I read this manga when I was in middle school and it's one of my favorites. This is about Najika, a girl who is an orphan who likes cooking and baking. Her birth parents were also famous chefs. One day when she was little she met a mysterious boy who gave her some flan and a fancy spoon to eat it with to cheer her up. Years later she still thinks about him and decides to go find him. She calls him "her Flan prince." She gets a clue about him from the spoon he gave her: it has the seal of a famous cooking school. Najika decides to attend the school to learn to make more foods but also to find her Flan prince. There she gets tangled up in a lot of drama, but also makes new friends along the way. Now, I can't guarantee I will finish all of the series or get around to all of these books this year, but I will do whatever I can. I'm human too. I got a life outside of reading as well. I am also a huge mood reader. With that out of the way, here are the books and series I need to finish/start from this point on! Series:  Witch Hat Atelier -this manga series is still ongoing. When the next few volumes come out in English, I will read them. Talli: Daughter of the Moon -this manga-inspired graphic novel series is still ongoing. When the next few volumes come out in English, I'll read them.  The Mary series -written by the same women who wrote the Jane series. The first book is My Contrary Mary.  Spy x Family - this series is still going on but as of the making of this post I have only read volume 1.   Since it is a new year, I have decided to tell you all ahead of time what plans I have for this blog! A popular book you have no interest in reading. Honestly I have so many answers for this one. To give you a single answer, I'm going to have to go with Sadie by Courtney Summers . I remember so many people hyping this book up when it came out a few years ago, and I'm just not interested because I am simply not a fan of murder mystery stories. I was also told the book deals with some other really heavy stuff I wouldn't be able to stomach. So yeah, no Sadie for me. 🤷 2. A classic book or author you have no interest in reading.   This is a tag that's been around for a couple of years and I thought it would be perfect to do it now! Since, y'know, I have like 500 books on my TBR as of writing this... 1. A book on your TBR pile that you haven't finished. For this I say I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith . So far what I read of this books is so good (gives off a lot of vibes similar to Anne of Green Gables), but for some reason, every time I read it, I only read a few chapters of it and then put it off for days or even weeks. I guess since the book is so good, I am trying to make it last longer so I can spend more time with it. But it's a stand-alone novel, and usually I can breeze through those in a few days. I dunno, it's weird! 🤷 2. A book you just haven't had the time for. Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger.
