I saw this tag over at the Instagram page of @fragilelunar . It looked really neat so I decided to do it too! As always, feel free to do this tag if you see it. 1. What genre would you be? Urban fantasy 2. What would your cover look like? Very colorful and cartoony, with some cottagecore aesthetic 3. What would your average Goodreads rating be? Hopefully a 4! 4. What would the main plot be? Something about an eccentric main character daydreaming a lot, and then their dreams come true via magic. They also make a lot of friends along the way while learning so many new things. 5. Would you like a happy ending or a sad ending? Happy of course! 6. What lesson would a reader take away from you? That you can find joy in the smallest and most unexpected of places. 7. What book would you like to be compared to? Anne of Green Gables, Mandy, and the Tea Dragon Society. 

  These are some books that I have read and loved but I don't see a lot of other people talk about them on Bookstagram/Booktube/wherever else people talk about books. So I recommend you check out all of these titles if your reading tastes are very similar to mine! 1. Mandy by Julie Andrews Yes, this was written by that Julie Andrews. It is about a 10 year old girl named Mandy who grew up and lives in an orphanage, but she always felt that she needed a place of her own. One day as she is exploring the woods behind the orphanage, she comes across an old abandoned cottage. She starts to secretly escape there everyday; tidying up the cottage and growing a garden there. Eventually her secret visits to the cottage lead her to a life-changing event. It's a really sweet and heartwarming book. If you like cottagecore-esque books with great characters similar to Anne of Green Gables , you'll love Mandy! 2. Running out of Time by Margaret Peterson Haddix This was actually Haddix's...

  I just finished reading Mandy by Julie Andrews. (Yes, that Julie Andrews. Did you know she was an author as well as an actress?) I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars. This was such a sweet book! This gave off the same heartwarming, cottagecore vibes similar to Anne of Green Gables, which is one of my favorite books of all time.  Mandy is about an orphan girl named, well, Mandy, who is ten years old and has lived in an orphanage all of her life. Despite her relatively normal an non-chaotic life in the orphanage, she's had a lingering sadness in the back of her mind because she always felt that something was missing from her life.  One day while exploring the woods behind the orphanage, she comes across an old abandoned cottage. She decides to make it her own personal sanctuary. So she starts a project to tidy up the cottage and grow a garden there, but she has to keep it secret, as she has felt she finally found a place to call her own and doesn't want to share it with any...
