I READ THE MADOKA MAGICA MANGA FOR THE FIRST TIME!

Image
It's such a great feeling when you finally get around to reading a popular manga you've know about for a long time, and end up liking it! This is the omnibus edition (they combined all the manga volumes into one big one).  Puella Magi Madoka Magica by Magical Quartet is about teenage girl Madoka, who gets pulled into a magical girl contract by a mysterious creature named Kyubey. The contract guarantees that one wish of theirs will be granted, but they have to fight these monsters called "witches" in order to maintain balance in the universe. Madoka wishes to protect everyone she loves. Madoka's best friend Sayaka gets pulled into to a contract, too, and she wishes to see her childhood friend Kyousuke get better after an accident.  While this is all going on, a mysterious girl named Homura keeps showing up and tries to get the girls (mostly Madoka) to stop doing magical girl duties.  Well, the girls find out very quickly part of the reason why that is. Monster High Vol 1 New Scaremester Review

Image
A must read for Monster High fans (and new ones too)! The first volume of Monster High: New Scaremester is by several different authors. It is told in the style of American comic books. The first chapter is very chill and is about Clawdeen and Toralei's relationship (yes, they are a sapphic couple here!). The second chapter is about a gay couple, Valentine and Spelldon. It's also pretty chill. But with the last few chapters the story takes a darker turn. Many characters, including the Headmistress Bloodgood, mysteriously disappear. Many think it was the fault of normies (humans), and new rules are put in place restricting everyone's activities.  The friendship between our main six ghouls gets strained, and Frankie notices her/their father (he becomes the temporary headmaster) acting stranger than usual.  Well, I'll have to find out in the next volume what happens!  I gave this first comic book 5 stars . I love how this comic incorporated so many characters and lor...

Ranking Tinker Bell movies

I grew up watching these movies and I absolutely love them. But I do like some more than others. Here is my ranking for all 6 Tinker Bell movies. They go from my least favorite to my most favorite.   I do not own Tinker Bell or any of the Disney Fairies. They are all owned by Disney.  6. Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast --it's a good movie but the ending is so sad! It's also sad that it was the last Tinker Bell movie made.  5. Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure- -I just didn't really like Tink herself in this movie--she was more feisty than usual. Although I guess it was necessary for her character development. 4. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue-- it was good, but not great. I do like how this is where Vidia starts to act nicer towards Tink, though.  3. The Pirate Fairy-- super cool story! I like how we get to see a young Captain Hook in this movie, too.  2. Tinker Bell-- Tinker Bell's origins were so whimsical. I love the message w...
