  I was not tagged, I saw one of my followers do this tag over on Instagram and thought it looked cool! I tagged some people over on Instagram, but as usual, anyone is free to do this tag, too. 1.  Green Tea: Your favorite green book. Here's a recent favorite: The Gate, Girl, and Dragon by Grace Lin. 2. Earl Grey: A book that will never get old. Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix 3. Chai: A spicy romance. I don't read a lot of spicy romance, but all 3 of Emily Henry's books that I like so far (People We Meet on Vacation. Book Lovers, and Funny Story) do have some spice in them.  4. Chamomile: A relaxing read The Story Girl  duology  (The Story Girl and its sequel, The Golden Road) by LM Montgomery is pretty relaxing! 5. Today we will start with sharing my unpopular opinions for 2025.  Here are my answers from the last several years: 2022 , 2023 , and 2024 . As usual, feel free to do this tag, too! 1.  A popular book or series you didn't like.  I actually DNF'd this book back in June. It was She Drives Me Crazy by Kelly Quindlen . I found the MC Scottie to be really unlikable, and I also found her relationship with the other girl Irene to be pretty toxic.  2.  A book/series a lot of people don't like, but you liked.  Maybe Funny Story by Emily Henry ? Henry's books in general are pretty divided. Funny Story is my favorite book from her so far! 3.  A love triangle where the main character ended up with the person didn’t want them to end up with/an OTP that you don’t like. I think I love this more than Book Lovers ! I read that book last year. You can read my review for it here . Funny Story by Emily Henry is about Daphne and Miles, who are living together as roommates as Daphne's ex fiance Peter and Miles's ex fiancee Petra break off each other's respective engagements and decide to be with each other instead. Their daily life is largely uneventful: Daphne works as a children's librarian, Miles works as a bartender, they don't interact with each other much...until one day they get a letter in the mail from Peter and Petra to come to their wedding! Shocked that their exes would even think to still communicate with them, the two decide to fake date to annoy Peter and Petra by the time the wedding happens.   Just like the title of this post says. Book Lovers by Emily Henry is an adult contemporary romance novel about a woman working in the book publishing industry named Nora. Nora is trying to help one of her clients, named Dusty, get her book published, but the coworker she is stuck working with to make it happen is a somewhat uptight guy named Charlie.  Nora's sister Libby then invites her to go on vacation so they can unwind at Sunshine Falls, a small town near Asheville, North Carolina. While they are there they try to accomplish a list of things to do that are cliche movie tropes found in small town Hallmark-esque movies, such as going on dates with locals and going to unusual tourist attractions. Nora happens to run into Charlie while there, and it turns out his family lives in Sunshine Falls and he came back to help his family with their family business, a bookstore that's beginning to fall apart.   This book, People we Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry , only came out last year, but ever since it did, the bookish community has been obsessed with it. And I finally read it a while ago! Funnily enough, I started reading it a little bit after it was announced it was getting a movie. What a coincidence. This is a Adult Contemporary Romance book. It's about a young woman named Poppy who likes traveling with her best friend, the stoic but kind English teacher Alex.  Unfortunately, Poppy and Alex had a falling out in their friendship when something happened to the two of them when they went to Croatia several years earlier, and Poppy, feeling unfulfilled with her life working as a journalist for a travel magazine in New York City, decides to rekindle her friendship with Alex through a new trip.
