Reading Percy Jackson for the first time

Image
And guess who loved book 1 (as in gave it 5 stars ) and will continue reading the series?! Funny story: my first exposure to Percy Jackson was actually the 2010 film based off of this first book that I watched back in middle school. Since I didn't read the books back then, I thought the movie was okay, but my friends who have read the books all said the movie was a terrible adaptation of the first book. Henry's books in general are pretty divided. Funny Story is my favorite book from her so far! 3.  A love triangle where the main character ended up with the person didn’t want them to end up with/an OTP that you don’t like. I don't have an answer for this year!  4.  A popular genre you hardly reach for. Still horror. But so far I have read the first two books of the Blight Harbor series by Lora Senf and I've...
