  Well, what do you think? More book I barely see anyone online talk about that need more love!  Three of these I read this year and one I read last year. She gets to be the lead role in a new K-Drama, and she gets to act alongside Bryan, who is a popular teenage K Pop star. He plays the love interest in the story. However, the initial ratings for the show don't look so good, and the company president wants them to fake date, thinking it will boost ratings. They're reluctant at first, but Hana and Bryan agree to it. Eventually, things get more complicated when the director decides to add a love triangle to the K Drama, and the other love interest gets played by none other than veteran K-Drama actress Minjee. Minjee is also Hana's best friend, and Hana has secretly had a crush on her for ...

Here are all the books I read in August with their respective links to their reviews, if applicable. Yeah, I've gotten kinda lazy to rewrite their summaries here. And some I didn't write summaries because they are sequels. 😂 I read a total of 12  books. Yeah, more than I usually read on average each month! But that's because some of these books were graphic novels/manga or thin middle grade books (almost novellas?) that I could finish within a day. I found out about this book because there is a CGI Studio Ghibli series of the same name directed by Goro Miyazaki (Hayao Miyazaki's son). I might or might not watch it sometime. The book is also by Astrid Lindgren, who is most well known for writing the Pippi Longstocking series. I could never get into the Pippi series (shocker, I know!), but this stand alone novel worked for me! Ronia the Robber's Daughter is about, well, Ronia, who is the daughter of Matt. Matt is the leader of a band of thieves who live somewhere in a big forest. Matt has a rivalry against Borka, who is the leader of another gang of thieves in the same forest. One day while hanging out outside, Ronia meets Borka's son Birk, who is around her age. They argue a lot at first, but then they soon become friends behind their fathers' backs. Eventually their fathers' find out and the two gangs get into a fight over it. It ends up with Ronia and Birk running away to live in a cave together. They enjoy ...
